About this site

Chester Sanitary Landfill is a landfill in Chester, Plumas County. The state register names County Of Plumas Public Works Department as the operator. This page brings together its hours, accepted items and phone number, taken from plumascounty.us. We read that page on .

The source gives 1 line of hours that change by season, date or service rather than one weekly pattern, so check the table above against the day you plan to go.

Of the 6 other Plumas County sites on our list, 1 has a plain weekly schedule; 1 of those open on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. The same source pages also cover Chester/Lake Almanor Solid Waste T.S. The source lists 2 accepted items, including woody green waste and non-woody green waste. In broad terms that covers yard and green waste. For recyclables, Delleker Transfer Station lists it as accepted.
