Dump Hours

Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-14

Dump Hours (dumphours.com) is run by AUSSIE-AI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17193460). "We" and "us" below mean AUSSIE-AI LTD. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.

Searches stay in your browser

When you search by ZIP code or town, your browser downloads the list of sites and works out the nearest ones itself. The text you type is not sent to us.

Your location

If you press "Use my location", your browser asks for permission and then gives the page your approximate position. It is used once, inside your browser, to sort sites by distance. It is never sent to us or stored.

Maps

Facility pages show a map drawn with tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading those tiles sends your IP address and the page address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's tile servers, as with any image request. Their policy is at osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Measuring visits

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and check loading speed. It does not set cookies and does not track you across other websites.

Advertising

The site shows ads from Google AdSense to cover its running costs.

Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before advertising cookies are used. California residents can use the same Ads Settings page to limit how Google uses their information.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them to reply and to act on what you report, keep them only as long as that takes, and never sell them or add you to a mailing list.

Hosting

Cloudflare serves the site and processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Children

The site is a general guide and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. A parent who believes a child has sent us personal information can ask us to delete it through the contact page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Send requests through the contact page. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
